This course builds on the Basics and Advanced concepts and takes you through the application of the concepts to a component based on its function and design intent. How the tolerancing scheme is decided and GD&T drawing is made.
4. Basics of Tolerances and Stackup - This course will deal with the basics of tolerances, Limits and Fits. Then going in deep towards how a Tolerance stackup analysis of a mechanical assembly is conducted with multiple examples. Dealing with assemblies in which GD&T is applied requires a more advanced approach which will be dealt with in detail with multiple inter-part and intra-part examples.
